Student Ministry
Renew exists to equip students in pursuing Jesus, enable students to reach classmates and friends, and to see true life change in the lives of students through faith in Jesus.

Sunday School
For Grades 6th – 12th
Sunday school is a chance for students to dig deeper into the truth of God’s Word by discussing Bible passages in small groups led by adult volunteers. These small group discussions are designed as a time to make students think critically and let them learn together as they break down questions. Sunday school starts at 9:15 and we met in the Family Life Center.
Catapult
6pm Sundays
Catapult is the youth Sunday evening service. They meet at 6pm in the Family Life Center. A live student led band and devotions geared toward young people are the highlights of this service. There’s also the occasional pick-up volleyball or basketball game going on before or after the service.
Renew
6pm WEdnesdays
Renew is a time strategically planned to further a student’s relationship with Christ and to help equip them with the tools needed to reach their friends, classmates, and community. Wednesday nights consist of fun games, student led worship, and a bible study. It is for students in 6th-12th grade and is from 6:00-7:30pm.
OTHER EVENTS
Wednesday Night (summer)
The youth meet for fellowship and teaching on Wednesday nights at 6pm during the summer.

Wednesday Night (School Year)
LIFE
LIFE is an acrostic for Life is for Everyone. During the school year students 9-12th grade meet in the Fellowship hall for dinner, games, group lessons, music and more from 6-7:30pm. This time is designed strategically to get Generation Z’ers in the door and minister effectively to them.

Missions Matter
Throughout the year, the student ministry will have the opportunity to minister to those in our community. These events are centered around serving and being a light to neighbors, friends, and peers. Be on the lookout for opportunities for your student this year.
Youth Activities
The students have various youth activities scheduled throughout the year. Putt-Putt, Christmas Parties, D-Now, Back to School Swim Parties, Top Chef Competition and other activities provide a time for students to grow closer together as a group and make fun memories for the future.
Summer Camp
Students attend summer camp each summer. These camps focus on the spiritual health and wellbeing of our students.
Winter Retreat
Over the school Christmas break, students are encouraged to attend Winter Break…a short 2 day retreat to recharge and focus before the 2nd semester of school begins.
Communication
At Renew we try our best to keep parents in the loop of any and all youth activities or events. We use multiple channels of communication to do our best to ensure that everyone has access to all pertinent information. We use GroupMe to post weekly schedules, announcements, and ETA’s when the youth go on trips. The same information is also given in the Renew Student Ministry Facebook group.
